If your guests are traveling from far, make a fun weekend of it. Plan a fun brunch the next day or beach day with a bon fire. This is a great opportunity to get to spend time with your close family and friends.

Avoid popular weekends like the 4th of July, holidays and other large events that might be happening in the area. Traffic gets bad on the freeway and you risk having late arrivals to your wedding. It's also very hard to find hotel stays for the guests traveling to your wedding.
San Diego has so much to offer. The weather is perfect year round and rarely do you need to worry about rain. However, if you're planning a beach wedding be prepared for fog or wind.

Enjoy some fun fair vibes next to the beach. This is perfect for a family.
Go for the Apple Pie! Seriously, the best you'll ever have. It's a drive, but worth it.
Home of the Padres! Check out this super cool stadium in downtown.
Looking for something more adventurous? Kayak from the shore to the La Jolla caves.
A great way to spend sunset is strolling the paths of Sunset Cliffs.
You can easily spend a day here between all the the gardens and museums. Most of which are free!
